| | | Oh-yes! | Generally considered better over longer distances, Apolo Anton Ohno was a surprise gold medal winner in the men's 500 meters on Saturday.
And that was just the beginning.
Ohno then helped the U.S. team win bronze in the 5,000 meters relay event later in the night, bringing the American star's medal take at the Torino Olympics to three.
Ohno led at the end of each lap in the 500m, not his best event, and his win ended Korean Ahn Hyun-Soo's bid to sweep the individual men's short track speedskating events here.
Ahn won bronze in the 500m, then got his third gold of these Games when the Koreans won the relay -- as expected -- with an Olympic-record time of six minutes, 43.376 seconds.
