Greer, SC (Sports Network) - Franklin Corpening carded a 6-under 66 on Friday to remain atop the leaderboard after two rounds of the BMW Charity Pro-Am.

Corpening, who played on the par-72 Reserve at Lake Keowee on Friday, completed 36 holes at 15-under-par 128. He hasn't finished better than tied for 22nd this season, which is his rookie campaign on the Web.com Tour.

Mark D. Anderson, who shared the first-round lead with Corpening, posted a 67 at the par-72 Chanticleer Course at Greenville Country Club to slip one back at minus-14. He was joined there by Tom Hoge, who shot 8-under 63 on the other course in the rotation, the par-71 Thornblade Club, which will host the final round on Sunday.

Miguel Angel Carballo (65 at Lake Keowee) and Ben Martin (66 on the Chanticleer Course) share fourth place at minus-13.

Kevin Kisner fired a 6-under 66 at Lake Keowee to move into sixth place at 12- under-par 131.

Corpening played the back nine first and did most of his scoring in his first eight holes. He got off to a quick start with back-to-back birdies at 10 and 11.

After a pair of pars, Corpening converted a birdie try at the 14th to move to 12-under. He rolled in a birdie effort at No. 16 and came right back with another birdie at the 17th.

Corpening rolled in a 15-footer to save par at No. 18 and that was the first of five straight pars. He got to 15-under with a birdie on the par-5 fifth. Corpening finished his round with four pars in a row.

Anderson, like Corpening, hasn't had a very good season to this point. Anderson has yet to crack the top 30 in his six Web.com Tour starts, but he is well on his way to bettering that this week.

The 26-year-old Anderson started with four pars in a row from the 10th on the Chanticleer Course. He dropped in back-to-back birdies tries at 14 and 15, then birdied the 18th to make the turn at minus-12.

Anderson, who tied for 32nd at this event in 2010, wrapped bogeys at two and four around a birdie on the third. He poured in three consecutive birdies from the fifth to jump to 14-under. Anderson tripped to another bogey at the eighth, but he got that shot right back as he birdied the ninth.

"I'm happy with my 67 today," Anderson stated. "It's nice to get this one out of the way and play well. The Greenville Country Club is definitely the trickiest of the three courses."

Hoge also started on the back nine and caught fire after a pair of pars. He birdied the 12th and 13th before making his third birdie of the day on No. 15.

He followed that birdie with an eagle on 16 and a birdie at the 17th as he jumped to 6-under through his first eight holes. Hoge stumbled to a bogey at the 18th to make the turn at 11-under.

Hoge birdied the two par-5s on the front nine, two and five. He picked up the final birdie of his round at the seventh.

Hudson Swafford, another first-round co-leader, shot 70 on the Chanticleer Course to finish three rounds at minus-11, where he is tied for seventh.

Zack Miller, the other first-round co-leader, struggled to a 1-over 73 at Lake Keowee to slide into a share of 31st at minus-8.

NOTES: Corpening's total of 128 matched the tournament's 36-hole record, which Travis Hampshire and Greg Owen set in 2011 ... Defending champion Nick Flanagan managed an even-par 72 at Lake Keowee, and stands at 3-under-par 140 through two rounds ... Roland Thatcher matched the course record at the Thornblade Club with his second-round, 10-under 61 ... Michael Putnam and Wes Roach share the pro-am lead with their amateur partners.
