WASHINGTON (34-35) AT PHILADELPHIA (34-37), 7:05 PM (ET)
TV: MASN, PHL 17
Ross Detwiler (LHP) vs. Cliff Lee (LHP)

The Washington Nationals and Philadelphia Phillies will meet tonight for the second contest of a three game series. Neither of these teams have been playing very well. The Nationals have lost three of their last four games and the Phillies have lost seven of their last ten.

However, the game will feature two quality starting pitchers. The nationals send Ross Detwiler to the hill tonight. He is making his second start after missing some time as a result a strained oblique. In his last start he worked five innings and allowed three runs.

The Phillies will have lefty Cliff Lee on the mound for them tonight. Lee has been very consistent all season. He has pitched seven or more innings in his last eight starts and has allowed three earned runs or less in all of those games giving his team a chance to win. As a result he has an 8-2 record. Look for the Phillies to win tonight behind pitcher Cliff Lee.

SPORTS NETWORK CHOICE: Take Philadelphia at -170.
