Team-By-Team Injuries
Mark Ingram, RB, NOS10/24/2014 7:41:00 PM
Description: Saints running back Mark Ingram could be in for a big day against the Packers on Sunday night. Insight: Ingram will likely get a majority of the carries for New Orleans in Week 8 as Khiry Robinson and Pierre Thomas have both been ruled out. Ingram had just 16 yards on 10 carries versus the Lions last Sunday, but the Packers are the No. 31 ranked rush defense in the league.
Khiry Robinson, RB, NOS10/24/2014 7:39:00 PM
Description: Saints running back Khiry Robinson has been ruled out for Sunday\'s game against the Packers due to a forearm injury. Insight: Robinson referred to his own injury as "a little boo-boo", but the Saints are obviously taking it more seriously. Mark Ingram and Travaris Cadet will get all the work out of the New Orleans backfield against the 31st ranked rush defense versus Green Bay.

Jarrod Dyson, CF, KAN10/24/2014 5:36:00 PM
Description: Royals center fielder Jarrod Dyson is starting in center field and batting eighth in Game 3 of the World Series on Friday. Insight: In the big AT&T Park, Royals manager Ned Yost went with his best defensive lineup. Lorenzo Cain moves to right field, and Nori Aoki is on the bench. Alex Gordon will bat second, and Mike Moustakas will hit fifth.
Victor Martinez, DH, DET10/24/2014 5:31:00 PM
Description: Free agent Victor Martinez is looking for a four-year contract this winter according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports. Insight: Martinez is 36, but he hit .335/.409/.565 with 32 home runs and 103 RBI in 2014. The Tigers would love to keep him, but they also have other free agent concerns in Max Scherzer and Torri Hunter.

 Tony Wroten, G, PHI10/24/2014 7:34:00 PM
Description: 76ers guard Tony Wroten does a little bit of everything but nothing all that well. Insight: Wroten will likely average over 11 PPG, close to three rebounds and assists per game and nearly a steal per game. He won\'t lite up any one category. Keep in mind, Wroten is also a very poor free-throw shooter. He shot 64.1 percent from the line last season.
 Henry Sims, C, PHI10/24/2014 7:31:00 PM
Description: 76ers center Henry Sims is a double-double threat on most nights. Insight: Sims averaged 12.1 PPG and 7.0 RPG in 25 games last season. The 76ers will be bad, but someone has to grab some stats. Sims will accumulate some numbers playing on a bad Philadelphia team.

 John Gibson, G, ANA10/24/2014 6:00:00 PM
Description: Ducks goalie John Gibson will start on Friday against the Blue Jackets according to the Orange County Register. Insight: Gibson started opening night and allowed six goals to the Penguins. Frederik Andersen took over in net and has won his last six starts. During that time, Gibson asked to be sent to the minors to get a few starts to stay fresh, so we do not expect him to at all be rusty on Friday.
 Andrew MacDonald, D, PHI10/24/2014 5:57:00 PM
Description: Flyers defenseman Andrew MacDonald will miss four weeks with a lower-body injury according to Insight: The Philadelphia defense looks pretty thin. They already lost Kimmo Timonen and Braydon Coburn before MacDonald went down. MacDonald has a goal and two assists in 2014-2015.
