Vick Ballard, RB, IND7/25/2014 8:02:00 PM
Description: Colts running back Vick Ballard tore his left Achilles during Friday\'s practice and will likely miss the rest of the season. SOURCE: Chris Mortensen, ESPN Insight: Ballard played one game in 2013 before tearing his right ACL during practice. With only injury-prone Ahmad Bradshaw and former sixth-rounder Dan Herron as backups, the Colts really need Trent Richardson to come through in 2014.
Andre Ellington, RB, ARI7/25/2014 7:58:00 PM
Description: Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said that Andre Ellington is ready to be the "bell cow" in Arizona\'s offense, according to Darren Urban of Insight: Arizona coach Bruce Arians said in May that he expects Ellington to get 25-30 touches per game this season, which was an outrageous exaggeration. However, we may see him get 16-18, with 4-6 coming on receptions. GM Steve Keim estimated Thursday that Ellington has put on 8-10 pounds, which could take away some of his explosiveness. Ellington is going 15th among running backs at an ADP of 29.9, which is a good spot for him because he\'s not guaranteed to see goal-line work.

 Dionte Christmas, G, PHO7/24/2014 8:24:00 PM
Description: There will be no Christmas in Phoenix this season, the team waived guard Dionte Christmas Thursday. Insight: The Suns are loaded in the backcourt with Goran Dragic, Isaiah Thomas, Tyler Ennis, Eric Bledsoe and Gerald Green. Christmass averaged just six minutes per game over 31 contests scoring 2.3 ppg.
 Jimmer Fredette, G, NOP7/24/2014 8:23:00 PM
Description: Guard Jimmer Fredette has signed a deal with New Orleans. Insight: Fredette finished last season averaging 5.6 ppg between Sacramento and Chicago. He\'s proven to be useless to fantasy owners because of limited minutes and not being able to fill up a box score.

Tyler Ennis, LW, BUF7/17/2014 3:34:00 PM
Description: The Sabres have signed Tyler Ennis to a multiyear contract extension. Insight: The 24-year-old had a career-high 21 goals and added 22 assists and 210 SOG over 80 games in 2013-14. The talent is lacking in Buffalo so he likely won\'t be much better than that in 2014-15.
 Jonathan Toews, C, CHI7/9/2014 1:26:00 PM
Description: The Blackhawks have signed Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane to matching eight-year, $84 million extensions. Insight: Toews is one of the top two-way players in the NHL. He had 68 points (28 goals) in 76 regular season games and 17 points (nine goals) in 19 postseason games this past season.
