College World Series to have instant replay for 2012
Omaha, NE (Sports Network) - The NCAA approved the use of instant replay for certain calls in the 2012 College World Series.
Replay would be limited to whether a potential home run is fair or foul, if a batted ball left the playing field for a home run or a ground-rule double, or whether there is fan interference on apparent home runs.
The NCAA Baseball Rules Committee proposed the new rules and they were approved on Thursday by the Playing Rules Oversight Panel.
