Las Vegas, NV (Sports Network) - WBA light heavyweight champion Beibut Shumenov successfully defended his belt Saturday with a 12-round unanimous decision over Mexico's Enrique Ornelas.
Scores were 120-108 on all cards.
Kazakhstan's Shumenov (13-1) made the fourth defense of his crown.
Ornelas (33-8) is a former super middleweight world title challenger.
