Pirog wins unanimous decision to keep middleweight crown

Moscow, Russia (Sports Network) - Dmitry Pirog captured a unanimous decision over Nobuhiro Ishida to remain unbeaten and retain his WBO middleweight title.

Pirog (20-0, 15 KOs) won by scores of 120-108, 119-109 and 118-111 in his third defense of the title he claimed in July 2010 with a TKO of Daniel Jacobs in Las Vegas.

Ishida (24-8-2) has lost his last two fights by unanimous decision. He was also beaten by Paul Williams on February 18.
