Oklahoma City, OK (Sports Network) - The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz have canceled their 2011 season, owner Phil Miller announced on Monday.
Miller stated in a press release that he was unable to secure investors in the team. Along with other factors, it prompted him to cancel the Yard Dwagz's participation in the 2011 campaign.
The Yard Dwagz were formerly an arenafootball2 league, but moved up to the AFL when it was re-made last year.
