Insight: Faulk never had any real fantasy value, but his absence does clean up a muddled backfield a little bit.
8/18/2010 6:55:00 PM
Description: Kevin Faulk reportedly shed weight prior to training camp in an effort to improve his quickness.
Insight: The seemingly ageless Faulk can still catch passes out of the backfield and the Patriots will continue to use him solely in that role. He doesn?t have much value, even in PPR leagues. (
3/10/2010 7:23:00 PM
Description: The Patriots re-signed Faulk to a one year agreement.
Insight: There was no maret for him and he knows the Patriots' system like the back of his hand. He only has scant value in PPR leagues anyway. (
3/6/2010 12:45:00 PM
Description: There appears to be imminent deal between Faulk and the Patriots.
Insight: Faulk shouldn't be surprised that there's no market for a 34 year old running back. The ball is firmly in the Patriots court, so he may have to settle for what he can get. (
1/12/2010 9:00:00 AM
Description: The Boston Herald reports that Faulk has made it clear that he would like to return to the Patriots next season.
Insight: Faulk is a free agent and will be 34 so it is unclear on if the Patriots will look to get younger on both sides of the ball. (
1/11/2010 8:59:00 AM
Description: Faulk carried 14 times for 52 yards and caught six passes for 37 yards on Sunday against the Ravens.

12/29/2009 8:18:00 AM
Description: Faulk rushed six times for 41 yards on Sunday against the Jaguars.
Insight: Faulk did little for a second straight game and with Fred Taylor back in the mix, his fantasy value is limited in Week 17. (
12/21/2009 7:54:00 AM
Description: Faulk had one carry for seven yards and one catch for three yards on Sunday against the Bills.
Insight: Faulk had his worst game of the season as saw only two touches. (
12/15/2009 12:57:00 AM
Description: Faulk rushed ten times for 58 yards and a touchdown against Carolina on Sunday. He also caught three passes for 17 yards.
Insight: Faulk has now scored a rushing touchdown in two straight games and continues to be a solid option in deeper leagues. (
12/7/2009 8:43:00 AM
Description: Faulk rushed three times for 15 yards and a touchdown against the Dolphins on Sunday. He also caught two passes for minus-one yard.
Insight: Faulk scored his first rushing touchdown of the season but still has limited fantasy value due to the lack of touches. (
12/1/2009 8:03:00 AM
Description: Faulk rushed three times for 22 yards and caught two passes for 30 yards on Monday night against the Saints.

11/9/2009 8:47:00 AM
Description: Faulk had two carries for 15 yards and four catches for 35 yards on Sunday against the Dolphins.
Insight: Faulk continues to be effective as the Patriots change-of-pace running back. (
10/19/2009 8:02:00 PM
Description: Faulk had one carry for five yards and three receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown against the Titans on Sunday.
Insight: Faulk scored his first touchdown of the season but still has limited fantasy value. (
Steady7/12/2009 7:20:00 PM
Description: When the dust clears in New England, there is always Faulk to catch balls out of the backfield. The veteran who is entering his 11th year with the team has averaged three catches per game over his career.
Insight: Faulk can start in a pinch - for the Patriots and for your team. He won't run over opponents, but can score a TD here and there. Last year he had three scores rushing and another three receiving. (
Steady5/2/2009 1:50:00 PM
Description: Faulk quietly continued his career as a long-time Patriot who excels as a receiver out of the backfield. He ran for 507 yards and three TD's with 486 yards of receiving and three more TD's.
Insight: Faulk only reached double-digit carries twice and had six or more catches three times. He is entering his 11th year with New England, so he knows the system. Beyond that, he really isn't fantasy relevant. (
Hot11/3/2008 12:20:00 PM
Description: Faulk garnered just the second most carries on the team Sunday night, but he once again led the Patriots in rushing with 60 yards on 10 attempts. He added five catches for 38 more yards.
Insight: His fantasy totals were limited by his not reaching the end zone, but Faulk continues to get plenty of work in Sammy Morris' absence. (
11/2/2008 8:03:00 AM
Description: As expected, Sammy Morris and LaMont Jordan will be out once again today, leaving Kevin Faulk as the primary back against the Colts. Although Indy has been a prime matchup for much of the season, the Colts have allowed just 3 yards per carry through the past three games. Faulk is worth starting consideration, but don't go nuts over him. (
10/29/2008 10:29:00 AM
Description: With Morris still hurting Faulk will get see the majority of time.
Insight: New England has been decimated by injuries this year, however, Faulk is still a good play in PPR leagues as Matt Cassell forces a more conservative offensive approach. (
