Far Hills, NJ (Sports Network) - The United States Golf Association announced on Tuesday that Hollywood Golf Club, in Deal, N.J., has been selected to host the 2014 USGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship.

The tournament will be contested Sept. 13-18.

"The USGA is pleased to bring the USGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship to such a wonderful golf course," said Teresa Belmont, the Director of the USGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship. "Hollywood Golf Club is a classic gem and a course the players will truly enjoy. It will provide a great test."

Hollywood Golf Club hosted the U.S. Women's Amateur in 1921 and several local amateur championships.

Terri Frohnmayer defeated defending champion Mina Hardin, 2 & 1, last year to win the crown.
