| NOTES | | | Playing opposite the WGC-CA Championship is the PGA Tour`s first-ever full-
field event in Puerto Rico. The Puerto Rico Open -- dedicated to the island`s
first Hall of Fame golfer, Chi Chi Rodriguez -- is set to begin the first of
its now-scheduled five-year run as one of the only PGA Tour events held
outside the United States. The tournament will be played at the Tom
Kite-designed Trump International Puerto Rico, known previously as the Coco
Beach Golf & Country Club, on a compilation of four nine-hole courses. With
the highest-ranked players in the world competing in the elite CA
Championship, the Puerto Rico field nevertheless features well-known golfers
like Tom Lehman, Duffy Waldorf, Joey Sindelar and even the 58-year-old Kite
himself. Worth 12,500 FedEx Cup points, the tournament will be carried each
day by the Golf Channel. Next week on the PGA Tour is the Zurich Classic of
New Orleans, which was won by Nick Watney last year.
